Pileated Woodpecker
The other day I spotted this pileated woodpecker in our old willow tree by the driveway. I took these pictures from the garage using all of my camera's zoom. Nothing compared to whales by the boat but we work with what we have!

Those are good pictures from that distance. I would need a tripod with full zoom. We have a few of those woodies around, but very illusive.
That's one big woodpecker!
