Since Dan is no longer keeping his blog up to date, I got his permission to blog some of the photos of his various trips in 2007. I won't be able to tell you much about the pictures but they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

first picture is from my hotel room looking out over that bit of Shanghai.
The second two photos are pretty self explanatory... a 30km journey in 7 minutes! sitting next to the window i almost needed a new pair of underwear when the train travelling in the opposite direction passed by at a differential speed of about 600kph!
Fourth picture is from an observation deck of the pearl tv tower - a cloudy day so not too much to see.
the food was really good.
