Barn to Workshop - Preliminary Work

Bob has decided that it is time to change the barn over from being a barn to a workshop/storage. He has done some re-wiring and added some new florescent lighting. The south entrance to the barn has been closed off. The eastern windows, along with the west window needed some TLC (sills replaced). A wooden floor has been put down over the cement flooring.

This area will be for storage of garden equipment, camping equipment, snow shovels, etc.The half wall on the right hand side will be totally closed off from the workshop. There is a door (where the ropes are hanging) from this area into the workshop.

This will be the main part of the new workshop.

This shows the blocked off south door and part of the eastern wall.

This is the rest of the eastern wall. This area will probably be for lumber storage.

Notice the 'safety' shoes! He admitted already stepping on a nail!
