Copenhagen - Nyhavn Canals

Bob and I decided to take a canal tour so this picture and the following two are shots that I took of this picturesque Nyhavn area. Nyhavn was previously known as the sailors' quarter but today is a fashionable promenade with restaurants and bars that exhibit the atmosphere of the sea and the past centuries.


As soon as I saw this particular view, I was sure that I had seen it before. Sure enough, we have a jigsaw puzzle at home of this very picture.

One huge sailboat!

Love the pictures and glad to see lots of sailing ships-keep them coming for those of us who don't get to go.
