Signs of Winter

Winter has come to Ontario with lots of snow, bone numbing wind chills and whiteout conditions. We have escaped the lake effect snow but places like Owen Sound, Barrie and Orillia have literally been dumped on with snow falls of 30-60 cms at a time.
But we haven't escaped the c..o..l..d..It has finally moderated somewhat in the last two days. And Mr. Groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter which somehow I don't find hard to believe.
So keep those sping-like photos coming, you folks in Powell River! Those of us in Ontario need something to cheer us up!!!!!

Fortunately, southern Ontario has the snow (well, I guess it's all how you look at it)...we have cold and just a skimming of snow. -27c without wind is getting a bit of a drag, but it's supposed to get warmer by Friday...one can only hope. Septic fields and wells are freezing and running dry, touch wood, we have escaped that horror so far.
