Update on Puppies
The puppies are now almost 3 weeks old and finally have their eyes open. Up til now, their eyes have been closed and their noses have looked like they ran into the refrigerator door, not once but repeatedly!
Next week we are invited to go to the kennel and cuddle with all of the puppies. At that time, we will be filling out a questionnaire re our lifestyle, environment, type of pup desired, along with preference re sex, color and size. This breeder puts all of her puppies through the National Service Dog testing program to assess their personalities, aggressiveness, obedience etc. In this way, she feels that she can better match up puppies with perspective owners.
Anyhow, here are some pictures of the puppies at almost 3 weeks old.
We are thinking of "Cooperslane Canoe ______" as the required registered name. The blank will be either Calee, Kate or Chloe. Don't laugh...this is important and just as difficult as picking the name of a baby!!!! (not)

I think you know what my opinion regarding the name is. There's really no contest as far as I'm concerned.
But you may need to get her a playmate named Edgar...
Or maybe an alpha leader named Bauer....
Lots of alliteration there!!!!
She may already be an alpha leader-
I'm anxious to know what Dan's choice is.
How are you pronouncing Calee-is it cal-ee or cay-lee?
Keep in mind that the proper Celtic spelling of Cay-lee is Ceilidh
Depends on if she's Irish I guess.
Okay, I've tried to stay out of this because well, I really didn't think it was toooo important...however...
try to imagine calling this dog. You definitely need a two syllable name.
Kate is far too abrupt. I like Chloooo- eeeee! But this is just my opinion.
They are all so cute, good luck deciding. (Of course with the name Chloe comes attitude and a certain scowl) :)
Dan's choice is Chloe!
I guess it would be pronounced Cay-lee but want I want to know is "How the heck does one get Cay-lee out of Ceilidh"?
So that is 2 for Chloe - and where do you sit on this SSC?
