Grandson Joshua 11 Days Old

I just returned home from spending 3 days or so in Barrie with the new family. Bob and I arrived in Barrie on Saturday, barely 10 minutes after Mark and Margot arrived home from the hospital with their new son.
Joshua is adjusting nicely to his new surroundings. He is just adorable and such a good baby. Here are a few pictures that were taken while I was with them.

Joshua is quite happy to be held by dad except when he is hungry!

I am happy to say that Joshua has spit up on me, thereby officially anointing me as a certified grandma.

One evening we all ventured outside for a walk around the block. Joshua slept most of the way so I guess it is fair to say that he enjoyed the experience.

Chloe at 12 Weeks

I haven't been able to take pictures of Joshua yet so you will have to put up with more pics of Chloe. With each week, she is becoming more and more mature in her looks and her actions.

Here she is staring at 'something' and did so for quite a period of time. I think it was the moving shadow of the flag on the ground.

She is more than happy to pose for pictures and even stay still long enough to snap a focussed picture.

She loves to prune dead stalks (and sometimes ones that aren't dead!) in the garden. If you look closely, you will see the incriminating evidence hanging from her mouth.

Chloe at 11 Weeks

We had a terribly hot spell when, with the humidex, the temperatures were 45 degrees Celcius. Chloe loved cooling off by playing with the hose and in the process, getting soaked! Here are a couple of pictures showing her trying to catch the spray.

She loves to 'help' with the vacuuming but like mom, finds it very tiring.

Chloe has found that the next best thing to chewing shoes (which, she has found, is highly forbidden) is sleeping beside them.

Chloe at 10 Weeks

Here are some pictures of Chloe at 10 weeks of age. She is growing every day and is delighting us with her antics. These pictures show that she has a distinctively brown nose and ears. We think that she is "just the cutest thing".

One day when we were sitting at the patio table, she decided to curl up under one of the chairs. It won't be long until she will be too big for this spot.
