Pileated Woodpecker

The other day I spotted this pileated woodpecker in our old willow tree by the driveway. I took these pictures from the garage using all of my camera's zoom. Nothing compared to whales by the boat but we work with what we have!

Here is Andrea and Dan at the airport. As you can see, Dan is not wearing his helmet so he finally succeeded in finding a place for it in his checked luggage.
